Slate has excerpts from Bush’s conversation with the Dalai Lama yesterday:
If I may, Dalai, I’d like to leave you with one final thought. And feel free to use it, if ever you see fit. I hope you still feel small when you stand by the ocean, and whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens. Promise me that you’ll give faith a fighting chance, and when you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance.
